We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Injection Molding Department on a stable day shift. This is a temp-to-hire position with a clear path to becoming a permanent employee, where you can significantly increase your earnings and build a long-term career.
Your Earning Path & Benefits:
Contract Pay: $18.00 per hour.
Upon Permanent Hire: $20.25 per hour, with eligibility for up to a $1.00 quarterly bonus, bringing your total potential to $21.25 per hour.
Extras: Overtime available during the week based on business needs, plus eligibility for quarterly bonuses.
Your Role in the Department:
As a Production Associate, you are essential to ensuring quality production and efficient operations. You will operate machinery to produce plastic components, maintaining high standards throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Quality Control: Perform detailed visual inspections of molded parts for defects such as flashes, short shots, or deformities.
Finishing Work: Use hand tools to trim, finish, and assemble components as required.
Data Entry: Utilize a computer to follow production schedules, view work orders, and log production data.
Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections and report any issues to supervisors.
Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and foster a positive work environment.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in assembly, manufacturing, or as a machine operator. Experience with injection molding is a strong plus.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on quality and precision, with the ability to spot defects.
Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for the entire shift and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and twisting.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and punctuality are required.
Basic Skills: Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and use a computer for basic data entry.
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Background: Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
