Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hour DOQ
Shift: 1st Shift – 6:30am–3:00pm

Masis Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join a growing food manufacturing team in Plymouth, MN. Requirements for the Quality Assurance Technician—

  • Previous experience in quality assurance or food manufacturing preferred
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, food safety, or quality control processes is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential quality issues
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated production environment (approximately 38°F)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Technician—

  • Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure they meet quality and food safety standards.
  • Complete routine quality checks and verify that food safety procedures are being followed.
  • Monitor equipment checks, including metal detector verification and other quality control processes.
  • Partner with production staff to identify quality concerns and help resolve issues before products leave the facility.
  • Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and product holds when quality concerns arise.
  • Accurately complete inspection reports, production records, and other quality documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with customer specifications and food safety regulations.
  • Perform environmental and sanitation checks, including ATP and allergen testing when required.
  • Promote and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a clean and safe production environment.
  • Communicate any food safety or quality concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
