Metal Finisher – Career Path to MIG Welder (Training Provided)
Location: Goodyear, AZ 85395 (Near Loop 303 & Indian School Rd)
Pay & Progression:
Starting Pay: $24.00/hour (Based on shift)
Upon Permanent Hire: $26.36 – $26.61/hour
After 30 Days: $26.86 – $27.00/hour
Shift Options:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM ($24.00/hr to start – Training provided on 1st shift
Overtime: Plenty of overtime available to boost your earnings!

We provide full training to help you advance from a Metal Finisher into a certified MIG Welder. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with high-quality stainless steel products in a safe and supportive team environment. No welding experience? No problem—we’ll train you!
Key Responsibilities:
Finish and polish stainless steel parts using grinders, buffers, and polishers.
Smooth welds and surfaces to meet precise quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Use precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Perform visual inspections and maintain accurate quality logs.
Assist with machine operation and learn light MIG welding tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience using hand and power tools (manufacturing, construction, or automotive background is a plus).
Experience in grinding, polishing, or buffing is highly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Commitment to workplace safety.
Welding experience is a plus, but not required.
Must have reliable transportation (the site is not accessible by public transit).
