Truck Equipment Installer / Mechanical Technician
Location: Gilbert, AZ
Pay: $20-$25 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Occasional overtime on Fridays
Looking for a hands-on mechanical position with a 4-day work week? We are hiring experienced mechanical technicians to help build and customize work trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, utility trucks, and water trucks.
This is a great opportunity for automotive technicians, diesel mechanics, trailer technicians, equipment mechanics, fabrication technicians, and mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools and building equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Install truck equipment and accessories including cranes, compressors, welders, hitches, air tanks, back-up cameras, strobe lights, safety equipment, and center consoles
• Perform mechanical assembly and electrical wiring on specialty vehicles
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and lifting equipment
• Read specifications and follow installation instructions
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper operation
Qualifications:
• Experience with mechanical assembly, automotive repair, diesel repair, trailer repair, equipment maintenance, or related work
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Basic electrical wiring experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when needed
Compensation:
$20-$25 per hour depending on experience
Requirements:
Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
