Are you passionate about precision and quality in manufacturing? Our client is seeking dedicated Assemblers to join their team in Peabody, MA. This role is crucial in ensuring that metal components and subassemblies are assembled accurately and efficiently, supporting the overall production operations.
Responsibilities of the Assemblers
Assemble metal parts and components using hand tools and fixtures
Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and assembly diagrams
Perform basic mechanical assembly, fastening, riveting, and fitting
Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Meet production standards and daily output goals
Report defects, equipment issues, or material shortages to supervisors
Work collaboratively with team members and production staff
Requirements of the Assemblers
Previous experience in metal assembly or manufacturing preferred
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Basic ability to read measurements and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
