Assembly Technician – Automation Components

Location: North Phoenix, AZ Happy Valley & I-10

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Range: $19 – $24 per hour (DOE)

Overview: We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our automation team in North Phoenix. In this role, you will help build and assemble components that are part of automated systems. These include sensors (for input), controllers such as PLCs (for processing), and actuators (for output), as well as other devices like power supplies, HMIs, and communication modules. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work with hand tools and follow written instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble automation components following work instructions and diagrams.
Use hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, crimpers, etc.) to perform wiring, fastening, and connections.
Perform basic testing of assemblies to check for proper function.
Identify and report any issues with parts, materials, or instructions.
Maintain an organized and safe work area.
Work as part of a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production preferred (automation experience a plus).
Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and basic schematics.
Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a set schedule.
