AV Design Engineer
Houston, TX
The AV Design Engineer is responsible for designing, specifying, and documenting audio-visual systems that meet client needs and project requirements. This role works closely with sales, project managers, and installation teams to deliver high-quality, reliable AV solutions for corporate and industrial commercial environments.
AV Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Design complete AV systems including audio, video, control, and networking components.
Prepare estimates based on floor plans and client meetings.
Develop equipment lists, bills of materials ensure technical specifications make a complete system.
Support sales and project teams with technical expertise.
Conduct site surveys and meet with clients to do a needs analysis.

AV Design Engineer Requirements:

3+ years of AV system design or integration experience.
Strong knowledge of audio, video, control, and networking systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
Ability to read architectural and construction drawings.
CTS Certification, CTS-D preferred

AV Design Engineer Compensation:

$80K – $120K salary
