Job Description — Local Delivery Driver (Temp-to-Perm)

We are seeking a reliable Local Delivery Driver with 3–4 years of delivery experience preferred (candidates with a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience will be considered). This role involves driving local city routes to deliver products and equipment to multiple customer locations throughout the area. Pay $18.50 to start.

The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck. Most loading/lifting will be assisted using a pallet jack, and the truck is equipped with a lift gate. Deliveries will include various types of stops and are not limited to dock deliveries, so candidates must be comfortable with routes that require pulling up to different types of job sites and entrances.

This is an indefinite assignment with a strong possibility of temp-to-perm for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive local routes within the city to deliver products and equipment
• Load/unload items using a pallet jack and lift gate as needed
• Make multiple deliveries per day to customer locations (not dock-only deliveries)
• Follow all safety procedures and company driving standards

Requirements

• 3–4 years delivery driving experience preferred (minimum 1 year required to be considered)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (lifting is minimal overall, but capability is required)
• Comfortable with physical aspects of delivery and varied delivery environments
• Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
