Chemical Operator

Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM*
Pay: $22-$25/hour

Schedule may change based on business needs.

Position Overview

The Chemical Operator supports daily manufacturing operations by preparing containers, batching and filling chemical products, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare bottles, drums, totes, and other containers for filling.
  • Formulate and batch chemical products according to specifications.
  • Fill and package products following cleanroom and quality procedures.
  • Record production data and complete required documentation.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Stock raw materials, products, and packaging supplies.
  • Safely handle and move chemicals, materials, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards.
  • Follow all Company safety, environmental, quality, and ISO requirements.
  • Train Chemical Operators as assigned.
  • Perform additional production duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Electric Pallet Truck certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.

Preferred

  • 1-2 years of chemical manufacturing experience.

Pay Range: $22-$25/hour

Working Conditions

This position works primarily indoors in a high-purity chemical manufacturing environment. Employees must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, which may include safety glasses, a hard hat, and appropriate footwear.

The position works in a Process Safety Management (PSM) environment where flammable liquids and/or gases may be present. Certain electronic or medical devices may not be considered intrinsically safe for this environment.
