2nd Shift CNC Operator

Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in seeking a CNC Operator to join their manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality prototype and low-volume production parts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet precise specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate HAAS CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials and machined parts.
• Make machine offset adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Load programs into CNC machines and verify proper setup.
• Perform tool changes and set tooling as required.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor production runs and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.
• Report equipment, quality, or production concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Follow all company processes, procedures, and safety standards.
• Complete operator preventative maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned.
• Ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule to support customer delivery requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and handle materials within company guidelines.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and work around manufacturing equipment.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery and moderate noise levels.
