Commercial Construction Working Lead – $40–$45/hr

Location: Burlington, MA
Pay: $40.00–$45.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Project Duration: Approximately 2 Years
Expected Start: Late October / Early November 2026
Per Diem: Not Available
We are hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Working Lead for a long-term project in Burlington, MA.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can work alongside the crew while directing daily construction activities. The ideal candidate has strong commercial interior construction experience, particularly with Light Gauge Metal Framing (LGMF), commercial doors and hardware, frames, and suspended ceilings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside carpenters and laborers
• Coordinate daily work assignments and project priorities
• Perform Light Gauge Metal Framing installation
• Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware
• Install suspended ceiling systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform layout, measurements, and field adjustments
• Monitor workmanship and quality
• Coordinate with project supervision and other trades
• Maintain a safe and organized job site
• Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and schedule

Qualifications

• Strong commercial construction/carpentry experience
• Previous experience leading a construction crew
• Light Gauge Metal Framing experience strongly preferred
• Commercial door, frame, and hardware experience
• Suspended ceiling experience
• Masonry patching experience is a plus
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Massachusetts CSL preferred
• Procore experience preferred
• OSHA 10 card required – must be in hand and legible
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation to Burlington, MA
