Estimator
A growing construction firm is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a diverse portfolio of projects, including educational, industrial, commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use developments. This role leads preconstruction efforts by developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project scope, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
Estimator Responsibilities
Define, evaluate, and quantify project scope, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets during preconstruction and bidding phases
Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure complete project coverage
Prepare takeoffs, bid packages, and detailed cost breakdowns for proposals and client submissions
Coordinate with Project Managers, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure constructability, accuracy, and alignment with project goals
Estimator Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience on commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or estimating software preferred
Valid driver’s license required
Estimator Compensation
Salary up to $120,000
