Converting Operator

Our client is seeking a dedicated Converting Operator to join their team and ensure the seamless operation of converting machines. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the Converting Operator
Handle all aspects of machine production, including loading, unloading, and moving materials manually or with mechanized means.
Set up and operate various machines to convert tapes into different dimensions while maintaining high standards of quality and speed.
Inspect input materials for defects and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
Maintain cleanliness in the designated work area throughout the shift.
Follow verbal and written instructions to perform necessary finishing functions.
Monitor machine operations to detect defects and ensure safety guidelines are met.
Deliver finished products to designated areas for the next stage of processing.
Operate a forklift after completing company-required training.
Requirements of the Converting Operator
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, and balancing.
Basic mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and maintenance.
Strong reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
Competency in quality management to meet internal and external standards.
Effective time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team to produce quality products and maintain a safe workplace.
Compensation/Benefits for the Converting Operator
$20.00 + 30% weekend differential ($26)
5:30 AM-5:30 PM
