Counter Sales Associate

Location: Hilton Head Island, SC
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour based on experience 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Temporary Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Hilton Head Island, SC. This position combines excellent customer service with warehouse support and offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to business customers in person and over the phone.
• Process customer inquiries and assist with product orders.
• Support daily warehouse operations, including inventory organization and material handling.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Work closely with the branch team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or counter sales experience preferred.
• Warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems (such as AS400) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
