Customer Service Representative
Location: Westfield, MA 01085
Job Type: Contract to Hire | Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs./week)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Overview
We’re seeking a Temp to Hire Customer Service Representative to support customers, and internal teams with a positive, professional attitude. In this role, you’ll act as a key liaison between Sales Reps, Managers, customers, Technical Service, Engineering, and the Factory—helping ensure orders and inquiries are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to company representatives, customers, and employees while demonstrating a positive attitude
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales Reps/Managers, customers, Technical Service, Engineering, and the Factory
  • Answer phone and email inquiries in a timely manner
  • Provide information concerning products
  • Process incoming orders for unit accuracy, pricing, and shipping information
  • Enter orders into the Friedman ERP system
  • Review order information prior to sending to Credit/Factory
  • Identify and resolve product-related inquiries from representatives/customers
  • Guide representatives and distributors in use of Sales Assistant Specifier
  • Monitor fax machines for orders
  • Maintain an orderly work area; keep filing/paperwork up to date
  • Complete special projects as needed; assist other team members as workload allows
  • Perform similar or related duties as required or requested

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience writing orders and pricing is a plus
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ambitious, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Team player who works well with others
  • Able to function under pressure, prioritize, and multitask
