Masis is hiring a Die Cutter Operator – 2nd Shift.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of die cutting equipment to produce cartons that meet customer specifications. The Die Cutter Operator must ensure all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with company, customer, and ISO standards while maintaining high levels of quality and productivity.
Set up and operate die cutting machines according to job specifications and production schedule.
Review job bags and verify all job requirements before starting production.
Ensure proper set-up of dies, stripping units, and feeder systems.
Monitor machine performance during operation to ensure consistent product quality.
Inspect finished products to confirm compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Identify and remove nonconforming materials during the die cutting process.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on die cutting equipment.
Troubleshoot machine issues and notify supervisors of any mechanical or quality concerns.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored after use.
Follow the production schedule to stage and complete jobs on time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Train new operators and finishing crew members as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by management or lead personnel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Ability to read and understand job bags and production specifications.
Ability to maintain production standards while ensuring product quality.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing experience required.
Experience operating die cutting machines preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand production documents and job bags.
Basic math and computer skills.
Excellent manual dexterity.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to follow all job procedures and safety protocols.
