Key Responsibilities

The Door Shop Assembler assembles door units and related wood components using hand and power tools. This role requires experience with a nail gun, accurate measuring with a tape measure, and the ability to work with lumber while meeting quality and production standards.

Assemble door components (door slabs, jambs/frames, casing/trim, stops, etc.).
Use a nail gun to fasten lumber/trim and assemble door components safely and accurately.
Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using a tape measure.
Use basic hand tools, including a hammer; work with lumber/wood materials.
Install and align hardware as needed (hinges/strike plates/handle sets) per work order.
Inspect finished product for quality (fit, alignment, cosmetic defects).
Label, package, and stage completed doors for shipping or the next department.
Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

Prior Carpentry/Manufacturing/Assembly experience preferred, using a nail gun hammer and tape measure with lumber/wood materials.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation required.

First Shift Schedule: M-Th, 5 AM Start
Starting pay: $16-$17/hour (DOE)
Paid Sick Time
Vacation Pay and Holiday Pay
