Are you a dependable individual with a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service? Our client in North Kingstown, RI, is seeking a dedicated Driver to join their team. This role involves safely transporting materials, products, and equipment between locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. If you have strong time management skills and a keen attention to safety, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the Driver
Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and products.
Perform local deliveries and pickups in a timely manner.
Load and unload materials as needed.
Inspect vehicle before and after shifts to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and management regarding delivery status.
Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Assist in warehouse duties when deliveries are completed if needed.
Requirements of the Driver
Previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attendance and reliability.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Forklift experience is a plus.
