Electro Controls Test Technician – 1st Shift

Our client is seeking a dedicated Electro Controls Test Technician to join their team and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality assurance. Responsibilities of the Electro Controls Test Technician – 1st Shift
Perform final inspection and testing of control systems using complex blueprints and electrical schematics to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and correct root causes of product test failures.
Provide technical assistance to the Quality Control department.
Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering personnel to establish necessary documentation for quality product manufacturing.
Interact with department heads and management to resolve issues during the inspection/test process.
Train lower-level inspectors and production personnel to minimize defects and product repairs.
Attend meetings and implement action items assigned by management.
Complete projects to assist with process improvements and the Quality Management System.
Maintain accurate records of tested products.
Assist in the design and manufacture of test fixtures and document test procedures.
Requirements of the Electro Controls Test Technician – 1st Shift
Degree or technical certification in an electrical discipline.
3-5 years of experience in an electrical testing environment.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
Proficiency with electrical test equipment, including meters, power supplies, transformers, and other electronic test devices.
Excellent attention to detail, focus, and quality.
Knowledge of electrical industry standards (NFPA 70, UL 508A).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
