Location: West Boylston, MA
Pay: $22–$26 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 1st Shift

We are hiring a Specialized Electro-Mechanical Equipment Builder to assemble complex equipment designed for specific customer applications.
This is not repetitive, high-volume assembly. You will work on a variety of specialized builds that can differ in size, configuration, components, and complexity. The work combines electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly and requires someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and detailed work.
Candidates with experience in electro-mechanical assembly, machine building, electrical panel wiring, automation equipment, capital equipment, medical devices, aerospace, defense, or other complex equipment manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
Depending on the customer and project, builds may include:
Custom electro-mechanical equipment
Electrical panels and control boxes
Mechanical structures and assemblies
Pneumatic systems
Chassis and enclosures
Power supplies and electrical components
Cable and wiring assemblies
Subassemblies integrated into larger systems
Complex medical or technical equipment
Large-scale capital equipment
Build specialized equipment from drawings, diagrams, and detailed work instructions
Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, wire run lists, and Bills of Material
Perform point-to-point wiring and route cables through complex assemblies
Assemble electrical panels, control boxes, chassis, and mechanical structures
Install and integrate electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components
Use hand tools and power tools to complete detailed assembly work
Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Identify assembly, fit, or wiring issues during the build process
Perform basic troubleshooting and make adjustments as needed
Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams
Learn new customer-specific products and build processes
Maintain strong workmanship and quality standards throughout each build
Previous electro-mechanical, electrical, or complex mechanical assembly experience
Ability to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
Experience with point-to-point wiring, panel wiring, or electrical component installation
Strong mechanical aptitude
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Experience working with measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers
Ability to follow detailed specifications and Bills of Material
Strong attention to detail
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical manufacturing team
High school diploma or GED
You do not need to have held the exact title of Electro-Mechanical Equipment Builder.
