Senior EM Quality Inspector 

Location: West Boylston, MA
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

We're looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Quality Inspector III to ensure complex assemblies meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability of products used in demanding industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies
• Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards
• Inspect assemblies using precision measuring and electrical inspection equipment
• Identify nonconforming materials and accurately document inspection findings
• Complete detailed inspection reports and quality documentation
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality concerns
• Support continuous improvement by identifying trends and recurring quality issues
• Maintain compliance with company quality procedures and industry standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of electro-mechanical quality inspection experience
• Experience inspecting complex electro-mechanical assemblies
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
• Experience using precision inspection tools including:
  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Pin gauges
  • Feeler gauges
  • Digital multimeters
  • Precision scales
• Knowledge of IPC-A-620 workmanship standards
• Experience identifying and documenting nonconforming material
• Strong written documentation and inspection reporting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

• Medical device, aerospace, electronics, or contract manufacturing
• ISO-regulated manufacturing environment
• Root cause investigations and quality improvement initiatives
• ERP or electronic quality management systems
