Job Summary
This requires relocation to Mesa, Arizona.

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor to lead our safety initiatives within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs that ensure compliance with environmental regulations and workplace safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation law, and EPA guidelines to foster a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide training and development programs for employees on first aid, CPR, occupational health, and safety practices.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims and facilitate return-to-work programs.
  • Perform root cause analysis on incidents to determine underlying issues and prevent future occurrences.
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance metrics, incidents, and compliance audits for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Stay updated on changes in environmental laws and regulations that may impact operations.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on EHS management.
  • Bilingual in Chinese or Mandarin
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, workers’ compensation law, and occupational health practices.
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Experience in training & development related to EHS topics is a plus.
