We are currently looking for an Equipment operator  who can use forklifts fill full-time positions for all shifts with a company in Southington, CT. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience and previous order-pulling experience.
Responsibilities of the Equipment operator:

• Perform start-up operation from power off/cold state; complete equipment and product paperwork, such as traceability and start-up checklist.
• Participate in changeovers to include line clearance, system transactions, and associated documentation.
• Pull test samples for QC in process inspection, remove completed production from machine and place in finished goods totes.
• Ensure that product not meeting quality specifications is processed under non-conformance procedures/requirements

Requirements of the Equipment operator 

• Good Verbal and written communication skills. Read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Understanding of and ability to use computers.
• Sound judgment for use in machine troubleshooting and product disposition.
• Good interpersonal skills to facilitate communication at various levels and areas within the organization.
• Must accurately follow both verbal and written instructions.

Compensation/Benefits for the Forklift Operator
 

• Salary: $29.26 /hour

This is a weekend/night shift. It runs from Thursday to Sunday.

Thursday and Friday hours are 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Saturday and Sunday hours are 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
