Our client is seeking a skilled Extruder to join their team and ensure the smooth operation of their production line. If you have a knack for machinery and a passion for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities of the Extruder
Operate the sheet extruder, dryer, crystallizer, and material handling equipment efficiently.
Perform preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Set up and manage material handling equipment, maintaining a constant flow of materials.
Operate the crystallizer, adjusting parameters to optimize processing for different blends.
Monitor and operate the dryer, ensuring it functions correctly and changing filters as needed.
Utilize the start-up checklist for the extruder, setting up for various sheet widths and thicknesses.
Drive a lift truck to transport materials and finished products to designated storage locations.
Assist with material handling on thermoforming machines and perform general maintenance tasks.
Requirements of the Extruder
Experience in operating sheet extruders and related machinery.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Proficiency in setting processing parameters for crystallizers and dryers.
Skilled in using lift trucks and handling materials safely and efficiently.
Strong understanding of complex systems and their interrelations.
Commitment to improving efficiency, safety, and quality in operations.
Excellent communication skills to report safety and hygiene concerns.
Compensation/Benefits for the Extruder
12 HRS 5pm to 5am
$18 to $23
