Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Feeder to join their team, where you'll play a crucial role in the packaging production process. Your keen eye for quality and ability to work efficiently will ensure the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing line.
Responsibilities of the Feeder
Feed flat cartons into gluing machinery, ensuring correct positioning.
Inspect products for quality, checking for damage, blemishes, and proper glue seals.
Catch and pack finished products into corrugated cartons, maintaining accurate counts.
Manage cartons by making them up, applying shipping labels, and sealing with automatic tape dispensers.
Perform line clearance actions to prevent product mixes and maintain cleanliness.
Segregate defective products and perform minor repairs or rework as needed.
Requirements of the Feeder
Strong attention to detail for inspecting product quality and ensuring proper packing.
Excellent hand-eye coordination for feeding and catching products accurately.
Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively within a manufacturing team.
Basic mechanical aptitude to understand and operate machinery.
Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for quality checks and reporting.
