Masis Staffing is now hiring entry level Utility Workers to work at our client site in Martinsville, VA.
The Utility Worker is flexible in helping both in and outside of their department to accommodate the continuous growth of the operations.
Utility Worker Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Utility worker must support processing food products by sorting, dipping, packing, weighing; as well as assisting in other task to prepare product for packaging.
Some other Utility Worker duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to inspecting raw product for nonconformities in quality, box by weight and placing on pallet to be stored for packaging.
The Utility worker will also be labeling boxes with product specifications, assisting in the removal of casing and dipping of uncased products, assisting in separating, bagging, and boxing of cheese sticks, keeping work area clean and organized, following GMP/HAACP procedures, may assist in other departments if needed.
“This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.”
