Our client is seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver to join their team in a meat freezer facility. If you excel in a temperature-controlled setting and prioritize safety, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver

Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up forklift to transport, stack, and organize meat products within a freezer environment.
Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring all products are properly stored and handled according to company guidelines.
Accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment or storage.
Ensure all products are moved, stacked, and stored in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to prevent accidents or product contamination.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory needs and issues.
Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe forklift operation protocols.
Follow company and industry guidelines for handling frozen products.

Requirements of the Forklift Driver

Must have prior experience operating stand-up forklifts; proficiency is required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for safety, operational instructions, and team collaboration.
Must be able to work in a freezer environment consistently at temperatures below 0°F.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Ability to lift up to [weight capacity, e.g., 50 pounds] and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or meat processing environment is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
