Our client is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator Selector to join their team and ensure the efficient and safe handling of products. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator Selector
Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select products from warehouse racking.
Utilize RF label technology to label products accurately.
Palletize products to build customer orders efficiently.
Deliver products to the dock safely and efficiently.
Hand select orders in various warehouse environments, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer.
Stack products on pallets following proper procedures, ensuring labels face outward.
Stage pallets for loading at the correct dock locations and stretch-wrap products on the loading dock.
Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallet jack and RF unit.
Perform pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Requirements of the Forklift Operator Selector
Must be over the age of 18.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
Adequate physical fitness to meet job demands.
Ability to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift.
Meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard.
Develop a good working knowledge of product placement and inventory control techniques.
