Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Driver to join our warehouse/operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials and products within the warehouse or facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials, pallets, and products to designated areas safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage racks as required.
Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and organization of materials in the warehouse.
Perform routine forklift inspections and maintenance checks; report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management, order picking, and cleaning work areas.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow, inventory, and safety issues.
Qualifications:
Must pass a Written Forklift Exam, then will test with Driven Forklift Test..
Past forklift operator certification and proven experience operating sit-down forklifts.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 as needed.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and handle multiple tasks.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
Standing, walking, and operating a forklift for extended periods.
Potential for overtime or shift work as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Ability to bend, reach, and lift as necessary for daily tasks.
