Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to accurately fulfill customer orders.
• Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
• Assist in building pallets and preparing shipments for distribution.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order processing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in materials handling within a distribution center environment.
• Strong proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, and RF scanners.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work area.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
