Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator – Summary

The Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily HR operations, payroll administration, workplace safety initiatives, and office support functions. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who can manage confidential information, balance multiple responsibilities, and contribute to a productive team environment.

Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator – Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, orientation activities, and personnel documentation
  • Manage weekly payroll processing for employees across multiple locations while maintaining accurate payroll and tax records
  • Support employee benefits administration, recruitment efforts, policy updates, and compliance with company procedures and employment regulations
  • Assist with workplace safety programs by maintaining OSHA documentation, coordinating training, and tracking compliance requirements
  • Provide administrative and operational support through office organization, reporting, employee communications, and special projects as needed

Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator – Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling payroll administration
  • Knowledge of human resources practices, payroll procedures, tax regulations, and employment compliance standards
  • Experience using payroll platforms, timekeeping systems, Microsoft Excel, and other office software
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred; HR or payroll certifications are a plus

Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator – Compensation

  • $65K – $75K salary
