Painter – Industrial

We are currently looking for warehouse associates for a Manufacturing Production firm in Easley, SC. If you have experience in Painting in an industrial setting, we would love to hear from you

A painter role at this great Company involves preparing heavy-duty steel waste containers (like dumpsters and compactors) for finishing and applying protective, high-grade industrial coatings. It is a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing role focused on quality and surface protection.
Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation: Grind, smooth, and clean metal welds to ensure proper paint adhesion. Remove slag, spatter, and surface imperfections using powered hand tools.
Coating Application: Mix enamels and lacquers to exact viscosity specifications. Apply primers and topcoat finishes evenly using commercial spray equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the final coat meets strict company and industry standards before the container is approved for shipment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and handle chemicals/coatings according to SDS (Safety Data Sheet) instructions

Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy materials and maneuver powered hand tools for extended periods in a shop environment.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints or a willingness to learn, and proficiency with measuring tape.
Tool Operation: Familiarity with powered hand tools (like grinders) and industrial paint sprayers
