Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative supports the General Manager by overseeing the parts department, managing inventory, and supporting all quoting activities. This role ensures accurate proposal creation, effective workflow communication, and consistent follow-up to maintain customer satisfaction and generate new business.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Oversee daily parts department operations

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of parts and components

  • Support quoting for the GM, Operations Manager, and Sales Representative

  • Track sales and parts orders from planning to completion

  • Assist in generating new business through follow-ups and customer engagement


Responsibilities

  • Create proposals and quotes based on customer scope, budget, and site conditions

  • Order, receive, and manage parts using the company operating system

  • Monitor inventory levels, warehouse organization, shipping, and receiving

  • Follow up 3–5 times on open quotes and maintain active quote pipeline up to 6 months

  • Participate in safety practices, site visits when required, and internal sales reviews


Qualifications / Requirements

  • Inside sales experience with quoting, proposal creation, and customer follow-up

  • Proficiency with operating systems (Sage preferred) and inventory processes

  • Working knowledge of commercial/industrial boilers and related equipment

  • Experience with budgeting, parts sourcing, and vendor coordination

  • Valid driver’s license for occasional customer site visits


Pay / Benefits

  • Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
