PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
The employee is required to be fully competent to install, maintain, troubleshoot, document, and repair a wide variety of industrial instrumentation, systems, and controls.
Responsible for providing maintenance support for the uninterrupted operation of essential instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.
Must be available for emergencies or job assignments on a 24-hour basis.
Follows Policies, Procedures, Rules, and Regulations as outlined in the Longo Electrical Mechanical Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual.
Must have the ability to work with electricians and process control operators to assist and diagnose various instrumentation and control processes.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma, Vocational School Diploma, or equivalency certificate, plus two years of formal training in Instrumentation Field. During the interview process candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to use and discuss instrumentation test equipment and instrumentation loop processes.
EXPERIENCE: 6 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in Industrial, Water, Wastewater, or Petro Chemical facilities.
