Inventory Clerk Specialist

Our client is seeking an Inventory Clerk Specialist to ensure seamless inventory control and accuracy across two warehouse sites. Join our client's team and play a crucial role in optimizing inventory processes and supporting operational excellence.
Responsibilities of the Inventory Clerk Specialist
Perform and document inventory counts, including cycle counts and spot checks as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking, reconciliation, and adjustments.
Monitor and help control the flow of equipment and supplies between areas and teams.
Compile and deliver inventory reports to management on a daily, weekly, or as-needed basis.
Identify discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, or process issues and escalate with details.
Support and recommend process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
Assist with loss mitigation and loss prevention protocols.
Coordinate with multiple warehouse teams to ensure inventory tasks are completed on schedule.
Help train or support less experienced inventory staff when needed.
Assist with forecasting inventory requirements by tracking usage trends and reporting needs.
Requirements of the Inventory Clerk Specialist
High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of inventory experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
Ability to read and write English.
Strong math and accuracy skills with a proven ability to count reliably.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable using word processing tools, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and basic databases/inventory systems (WMS/ERP exposure a plus).
