Inventory Specialist
Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring product movement, and ensuring inventory is properly received, stored, counted, and shipped in a cold storage environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily inventory counts and cycle counts.
Track incoming and outgoing products using inventory management systems.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Verify product quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and locations.
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams.
Assist with physical inventory audits and reconciliation.
Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and maintained according to cold storage requirements.
Use RF scanners, computers, and warehouse management systems.
Follow all company safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
Work in a refrigerated/cold storage environment and follow required PPE guidelines.
Perform other warehouse and inventory duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or cold storage experience preferred.
Experience with RF scanners and inventory management systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift, move, and count products as required.
Ability to work in cold/refrigerated environments.
