CNC Laser Operator
Devens, MA
We are seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator to set up and run high-power laser cutting machines in a metal manufacturing environment. This role focuses on producing precision parts, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines with minimal supervision.
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Edit and adjust CNC programs, including G-code.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
Adjust feed rates, power levels, and settings based on material type.
Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
Track jobs using manufacturing or production software.
Requirements
Three or more years of CNC laser operating experience.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.
Experience with calipers, pin gauges, microscopes, and CMM equipment.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
