Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a safety-focused and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for operating machinery to process metal materials, producing parts to precise specifications, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, quality-driven, and able to follow production and safety procedures closely.
Responsibilities:
Bend conduit
Set up and operate fabrication machinery to process metal stock according to blueprints, job orders, and work instructions.
Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Identify minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance or report equipment problems to maintenance personnel.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and priorities.
Accurately complete production logs, work documentation, and quality records as required.
Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating industrial or fabrication machinery preferred;
Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measuring tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor machine adjustments.
