Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Required Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
Basic mathematical skills
Capable of working in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in operating and setting up packaging machines, labelers, and scales
Attention to detail for product inspection and quality control
Physical ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
Strong problem-solving skills to detect and address machine faults

Nice to Have Skills:

Previous experience in food manufacturing or packaging industries
Experience with machine setup and changeover processes
Familiarity with lot number and code date checking
Basic computer skills for inputting pricing and date information

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Other Requirements:

Ability to work in a wet, cold, and loud environment
Willingness to stand for extended periods
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Flexibility to perform additional duties as needed
