Job Summary

The Fabrication B role assists with daily fabrication operations to support efficient production while maintaining a safe, organized, and respectful work environment. This position is responsible for producing quality components and operating assigned machinery in accordance with supervisor guidance, manufacturing instructions, and job breakdowns. Duties may vary based on production needs and assigned equipment.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate a variety of fabrication machinery and equipment, including but not limited to CNC panel benders, brake presses, lasers, spot welders, mechanical and hydraulic presses, and die stamping equipment
• Set up, load, and unload raw materials and finished parts with accuracy and care
• Select and run the appropriate machine programs for specific parts and make minor program adjustments when required
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned equipment
• Inspect finished parts visually and with measuring tools to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Support training and onboarding of team members on equipment operation and fabrication procedures
• Assist with developing, updating, and refining work instructions
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow housekeeping standards
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Pre-Employment Requirements
This role requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check following a conditional offer of employment. Employment is contingent upon a negative test result and compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

Education
Preferred
• Technical training or related vocational education

Experience and Skills
Required
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, up to 10 hours per shift
• Capability to perform repetitive physical movements including lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing, twisting, and fine motor tasks
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Strong attendance and reliability in a production-driven environment
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with machine software
• Solid numerical and measurement skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred
• Previous experience in fabrication or operating manufacturing equipment
