Job Type: Full-time, direct hire
Base Pay: $19–$23/hour, depending on experience
Shift Differential: An additional $2.50/hour on second shift
Total Second-Shift Pay: $21.50–$25.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30–11:00 p.m.
Training: Initial training takes place on first shift.
We are hiring an experienced Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Fall River, Wisconsin. This position focuses on setting up and operating tube-bending equipment to produce metal tubing components according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities include machine programming and adjustments, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and finished-part inspection.
Set up and operate manual or CNC tube-bending machinery and laser equipment as assigned.
Load, adjust, and troubleshoot machine programs to meet production requirements.
Read blueprints and work instructions to determine bending angles, dimensions, material specifications, and tolerances.
Prepare and load materials, checking material dimensions and thickness before processing.
Perform tooling changeovers and adjust machine settings for different parts and production runs.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Verify that parts meet drawing specifications, tolerances, and company quality procedures.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot alignment, tooling, and part-quality issues.
Record production activity and report material, equipment, or quality concerns.
Perform routine equipment care and operator-level preventive maintenance.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Previous experience operating tube-bending equipment, CNC machinery, or related metal fabrication equipment.
Experience with machine setups, tooling changes, and machine adjustments.
Ability to work with machine programs and troubleshoot programming or operating issues.
Ability to read blueprints, interpret tolerances, and follow written work instructions.
Experience using precision measuring tools to inspect finished parts.
Mechanical aptitude, basic shop math skills, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, make routine production decisions, and communicate issues clearly.
Reliable attendance and availability to train on first shift before moving to the regular second-shift schedule.
