Our client is seeking a dedicated Machine Tech to join their team on the 2nd shift in Dept 52. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a hands-on setting and are eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities of the Machine Tech – Dept 52 2nd shift
Operate machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to all operational guidelines.
Handle materials and ensure proper assembly and packing of products.
Conduct thorough inspections to maintain quality standards.
Complete shop floor paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Stand and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
Requirements of the Machine Tech – Dept 52 2nd shift
Demonstrated mechanical ability and aptitude for machine operation.
Ability to read and comprehend equipment operation manuals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to pay union dues as required for all non-managerial production floor employees.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation/Benefits for the Machine TechÂ
Pay Rate $18.40/HR
Union dues are required: $25 a week for the first 4 weeks, then $13.20 a week thereafter.
