Our client, a global leader in fastening products and technologies, is seeking a dedicated Machine Tender for weekend shifts. This role is crucial in producing world-class fasteners using safe machine operating techniques and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities of the Machine Tender

Promote safety as the number one priority and observe all safety rules.
Perform routine lubrication and preventative maintenance inspections as required.
Assist other machine operators in setting up machines, stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished workpieces.
Assist in sorting non-conformance parts to identify scrap or mixed parts.
Perform routine 5S techniques (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) to maintain a clean work area.
Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements of the Machine Tender

High school diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to interpret and follow safety instructions, work procedures, and other related documents.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to contribute as part of a team.
Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
