Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay:
$27.00 – $40.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Machine Shop team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic equipment
Troubleshoot and inspect mechanical components for wear and alignment
Read and interpret electrical schematics
Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools
Dismantle equipment and replace/repair defective parts
Adjust machine components and perform preventative maintenance
Test machinery to ensure proper functionality
Assist in installing new equipment
Identify and recommend parts to keep in inventory
Use multimeters to evaluate PLCs, PCs, and servo drives
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Associate degree in a technical field OR 3+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Skilled in basic algebra, geometry, and measurements
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Forklift and scissor lift operation experience preferred

Work Environment:

Manufacturing facility with exposure to mechanical parts, tools, fumes, and occasional high places
Noise level is moderate
Must be able to kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb as required
