Are you dependable, mechanically inclined, and looking for an opportunity in a fast-paced production environment? Our client in Windsor, CT, is seeking motivated Material Handlers to support mail processing operations and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, solving problems, and working as part of a team. Previous machine operating experience is a plus, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Operate and monitor mail processing equipment to maintain consistent production.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production delays, and maintenance needs.
Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance as assigned.
Monitor workflow and help ensure production targets are met.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Complete required production records and document equipment issues accurately.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to resolve operational concerns.
Assist with training new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures when needed.
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in material handling, machine operation, manufacturing, or production preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Dependable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety.
Availability to work a rotating 12-hour night schedule.
$18.00 per hour
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts
