Masis is looking for experienced Material Handlers proficient in operating high-lift forklifts, safely handling and stacking materials at elevated heights in fast-paced warehouse environments, including loading, unloading, placing materials in high-rack storage, adhering to OSHA safety standards, and able to work in a freezer like environment.
Material Handler Qualifications & Requirements Material Handler Key Responsibilities
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be literate and possess basic computer skills
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to work in freezer environments
Ability to lift, stand, bend, and stoop as required
Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to contribute
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Complete PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) inspection forms daily
Load and unload trailers as assigned
The Material Handler will process and complete all required documentation for receipt and shipment of goods, including but not limited:
Inbound/Outbound Trailer Inspection Forms
Production Finished Goods (FG) Pallet Listings
Load Sheets for Outbound Shipments
Receiving Tally Sheets for Inbound Receipts
The Material Handler will verify pallet counts for accuracy, including:
Quantity
Item code
Lot code
Pallet ID labels
Inspect all pallets for damage and quality; promptly report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor
Store products in proper freezer locations based on pallet size and weight
Ensure all warehouse supplies are properly stored and organized
Assist with daily cycle counts and verify inventory locations
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and freezer environment
Pick and supply materials to production as needed
The Material Handler will organize and consolidate warehouse storage areas daily to accommodate inbound materials
The Material Handler will participate in and complete all required training (safety, quality, HR)
The Material Handler will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
