Thrive in a fast paced environment? Masis Staffing is hiring 1st and 2nd shift Material HAndlers to help in a logistical setting.

Material Handler Job Description: The primary responsibility of this role is the safe and efficient movement of items in the logistics department, as well as working the trash compactor to rid of trash.

Material Handler Job Duties:

Manually or mechanically unload incoming trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and, if certified, forklifts.
Handle all incoming products with care to prevent damage to goods or property.
Sort incoming merchandise onto appropriate pallets, carts, or staging areas based on product type, destination, or company protocol.
Build and wrap stable, secure pallets of inbound freight to prepare them for movement into storage locations.
Check incoming physical inventory against documentation such as Bill of Ladings (BOLs), packing lists, or purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
Inspect all received goods for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies.

Material Handler Requirements:

Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods during a shift.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment which may involve varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.

Material Handler Schedule/Pay:

1st shift- Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm at $14.00 an hour.
2nd shift- Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm at $15.00 an hour.
