Material Handler / Forklift Operator – 1st Shift

A well-established Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong material handling and forklift experience, and has experience working in a cGMP regulated environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will support packaging operations by moving materials and finished goods while ensuring accurate inventory tracking and GMP documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, distribute, and store materials in secure warehouse locations
• Transport materials and finished goods between packaging and off-site warehouse
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, skids, hoists, and conveyors safely 
• Maintain inventory records using SAP / PAS-X systems
• Review shipments and paperwork for accuracy
• Apply Quarantine / Approval labels on finished goods pallets
• Support weekly cycle counts for packaging and warehouse inventory
• Dispose of scrap materials properly and maintain a clean work area
• Communicate with Planning, QC, Packaging, and Warehouse teams when issues arise
• Ensure all work is compliant with GDP / GMP and FDA regulations
• Required Skills
• Strong forklift experience and safe driving habits
• Solid computer skills (inventory systems experience) 
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and legible handwriting
• Professional communication and customer-service mindset
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues
• Must be dependable, motivated, and safety-focused

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of Material Handling experience
3+ years of RECENT Forklift Operation experience
Pharmaceutical GMP experience strongly preferred
