Material Handler / Warehouse

Are you ready to join a dynamic team where your skills in material handling and warehouse operations can shine? Our client is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team on the 1st shift. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's warehouse.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler / Warehouse
Complete the PIT inspection form daily
Load and unload trailers as assigned
Process and complete all proper documentation for the receipt and shipment of goods
Verify counts on all pallets handled for accuracy, including Quantity, Item Code, Lot Code, and Pallet ID label
Inspect all pallets for damage and quality, notifying the Warehouse Supervisor of any issues
Place products in proper locations in the freezer based on pallet size and weight
Assist with daily cycle counts and verify locations
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and freezer
Pick and supply production with materials needed for processing
Organize and consolidate warehouse storage areas daily to accommodate inbound material
Participate in and complete all required training (safety, quality, HR)
Requirements of the Material Handler / Warehouse
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
Must be literate and have computer knowledge
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. at a time
Must be able to work in a freezer environment
Willingness to participate and demonstrate team effort
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift, stand, and stoop as needed
Compensation/Benefits for the Material Handler / Warehouse
$18.00 per hour
