Merchandise Processor/ Warehouse

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Masis Staffing has the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking Merchandise Processor / Returns Associates to join a fast-paced warehouse operation. Candidates should have previous warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and be comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process returned merchandise according to company procedures and quality standards
• Inspect merchandise for damage, condition, and accuracy
• Wrap and prepare furniture and other merchandise for outbound shipments
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Scan outbound loads, outlet merchandise, and transfer shipments
• Read and match item numbers to ensure order accuracy
• Move, stage, organize, and prepare merchandise throughout the warehouse
• Perform repetitive lifting of boxes and merchandise weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Safely operate material-handling tools and equipment as required
• Complete daily tasks and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Support other warehouse departments as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
• Previous experience with loading/unloading, returns, merchandise processing, shipping, receiving, or a similar warehouse function preferred
• Basic computer skills required, including experience with:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to use scanners and other warehouse technology
• Ability to read, comprehend, and complete written work assignments
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Must be able to repetitively lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be dependable and maintain consistent attendance
• Must be flexible to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends when required
• Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening

Compensation

$16.00 per hour
